Outspoken and controversial Senator for Meru County, the Hon. Mithika Linturi has been accused of sneaking into a hotel room and banging a woman whose husband had stepped out briefly, a matter that is now the subject of a police investigation.
According to the woman, the incident took place on the 29th of January 2021 at the Maiyan Villa Resort in Nanyuki. In an occurrence that has been branded “more than bizarre,” the woman claims to have fallen asleep immediately after her husband stepped out shortly only for her to pick sounds of someone opening the door and entering the luxurious room she had booked with her hubby. She claims she never turned to check the entrant assuming it was her husband who had returned.
As he touched her romantically, she gave in, behaving as she normally did whenever she was intimate with her man. Only that it wasn’t her man!
And the games started….
The senator had been in the room acting husband for a whopping thirty minutes, the woman claims, when someone knocked the door. She was startled as she knew her man had returned and was lovingly lying by her side, fatigued, after thirty minutes of smoking hot romance. She claims she woke up and headed for the door only to learn that the man who was locked outside and was knocking to be let in was her husband, and the indescribably horny intruder was the senator from Meru.
Salaaale!
The husband was crushed. Broken. He was shocked beyond words.
The Meru Matador who did not seem moved by the episode decided to throw cash at the problem. He offered a million shillings as reparation and chucked 200,000 shillings in cash and wrote a 800,000 Kenya shillings cheque. The couple accepted the money.
It seems like the matter had been solved. For a time. But it reared its horny head again. The senator chose to make it a police case accusing the couple of extortion, in a twist that has left Kenyans wondering what really happened.
The couple has so far not complained of a bounced cheque. The conclusion we can draw from here is that the 1,000,000 shillings for the erroneous 30 minute wild romance was paid. That the senator is accusing the couple of extortion and even retaining legal services points to the possibility of the couple asking for additional cash from the senator. Mithika Linturi’s lawyer is seeking to bar any intended arrest of the senator by the police in regard to the case. The alleged crime is attempted rape, an allegation that has left many Kenyans’ tongues wagging with several questions. For example, when the senator sneaked into the room, were the lights on? Let us assume the senator knew the man had stepped out thus making it safe for him to go for the wife, is it possible that the wife would not bother to ask her husband where he had gone and what he had been up to? Assuming he had told her where he had gone as he stepped out of the room, wouldn’t she have bothered to know whether whatever he had gone to do had been accomplished?
What is the possibility that for the entire 30 minutes the romance was in top gear in the room there was not even a single word exchanged between the man and the woman? Is it a coincidence that the senator took a room just next to the room the couple had settled in and ended up sneaking up on the woman next door?
When the woman admits that she had 30 minutes of steamy romance with the Meru senator, is she also trying to convince us that she was unable to tell that the bearded man scrubbing and pricking her soft cheeks with wiry hairs was not her husband or her husband also has a similar beard?
The number of questions arising from this weird and bizarre incident is huge, and a senior detective who spoke to Factual Rumours on condition of anonymity expressed skepticism over the woman’s story. For example, a sober senator Linturi would not have just wandered into the room without knowing when the husband would return as this would have endangered his life. It is also not possible to be 100% sure that the senator sneaked into the room without an invitation by someone who alerted him that the coast is clear and safe for him to get in.
According to Brenda Chepkorir, a relationship expert, spouses have distinct scents that are easily detectable during sex or any other close encounter, and over time it is easy for a wife to tell that the man trying to kiss her or get too close is not her husband. In other words, the woman should have been able to tell that the man romancing her for a whole 30 minutes was not her husband. “There is also the matter of unique idiosyncrasies that differentiate our spouses that allow us to know that we are dealing with mates we have been with for a while. For example, one may have a husband who kisses her forehead whenever he joins her in bed, routinely, to a point where if he gets to bed without this act she will instinctively turn to ask what the matter is,” Brenda added.
It remains to be seen the direction this issue will take and if additional information will emerge. Most people interviewed by Factual Rumours for this story feel that the woman may have had something to do with this sneaking up into the room by the controversial senator.
